Milo Fantails at Ranui Swanson FC

Come for the football, stay for the community.

Ranui Swanson FC is proud to be an official Milo Fantails Hub! Being selected as a provider means our club has demonstrated the desire and capability to deliver high-quality football in a fun and safe environment. This program is a key outcome of "Aotearoa United: Legacy Starts Now," New Zealand Football’s plan to leverage the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to create a lasting impact for wāhine and girls.

Leading the Way in West Auckland

At RSFC, we aren't just talking about growth—we are living it. Over the past three years, our club has seen a massive surge in women and girls registering for football across our Junior, Youth, and Senior divisions. We are one of the very few clubs in New Zealand successfully led by a female President, Rebecca, and we are deeply committed to ensuring this space continues to grow.

While females currently make up only 22% of the playing population in Aotearoa, RSFC is dedicated to closing that gap by providing a safe place for girls to try something new and find a true sense of belonging.

What is Milo Fantails?

Milo Fantails is a girl-specific program designed to attract new female players aged 4–13 years old. It is perfect for girls who want to try football for the first time or for those who prefer playing in a social, supportive setting.

Our Core Objectives

  • Increase Participation: Offering flexible opportunities for girls to play the game.
